Grain Spawn

One 5lb bag of grain spawn can grow up to 25lbs of mushrooms when mixed with pasteurized straw! Our grain spawn was designed for straw cultivation, so no special equipment or knowledge is needed to grow at home. All varieties listed are suitable for outdoor cultivation and rotated seasonally.

We recommend picking up chopped straw at your local Tractor Supply Company and Hi-Yield Hydrated Lime at Ace Hardware to pasteurize your substrate, then mix in our grain spawn and watch it grow!
